Thematic issue in Anesthesia & Analgesia for 2019
The field and practice of pediatric anesthesia and perioperative medicine continues to evolve, in the process experiencing controversies and creating innovations. We are thus pleased to announce a planned pediatric thematic issue of Anesthesia & Analgesia. We invite you and your colleagues to submit your pediatric-focused work, including the following manuscript types:
- Original Clinical, Health Services or Education Research Report
- Original Laboratory Research Report
- Brief Report
- Narrative Review Article
- Systematic Review Articles
- The Open Mind
- Special Article
To facilitate discussion on this topic, Anesthesia & Analgesia issues this call for papers on “The Practice of Pediatric Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine: Current Controversies and Innovations.” Guest edited by Jennifer K. Lee, M.D., John E. Fiadjoe, M.D., and James DiNardo, M.D., submissions are sought in areas related to this topic for consideration for publication in Anesthesia & Analgesia.
Authors should review the Journal’s current “Instructions for Authors,” which can found at http://www.editorialmanager.com/aa. The corresponding authorshould indicate a request to be considered for this pediatric themed issue. The deadline for initial manuscript submission is October 1, 2018. Publication of this Thematic Issue is currently planned for early 2019.
